Terms, Conditions and Acceptable Use...

IN A NUT SHELL: NO SMUT, NO CRIME, NO SPAM, NO HATE, NO NUDITY. IF MY GRANDMOTHER WOULDN'T APPROVE OF IT, IT DOESN'T BELONG ON OUR SERVER!

• Your Hosting Account shall not violate our "no adult content" policy.
• Your Server shall not be used for any practice deemed illegal by the laws of the Canadian or US Federal Government.
• Your Server shall not be used to store or disseminate material of a threatening or slanderous nature.
• Unless you have an existing domain name, a domain registrar (whether it be divaDzine or another company assisting in domain registration) will need to be paid for a minimum one year domain registration.
• The use, damage resulting from use, and licensing of, any software, be it Shareware, Commercial, or Freeware is the sole responsibility of you, the Account Holder.
• You may cancel your hosting account at any time, however you must call our headquarters at: (250) 769-3030.

  SPAM and Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE):
  divaDzine takes a zero tolerance approach to the sending of Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) or SPAM over our network. Very simply this means that customers of divaDzine may not use or permit others to use our network to transact in UCE. Customers of divaDzine may not host, or permit hosting of, sites or information that is advertised by UCE from other networks. Violations of this policy carry severe penalties, including termination of service.

   

  Violation of divaDzine's SPAM policy will result in severe penalties. Upon notification of an alleged violation of our SPAM policy, divaDzine will initiate an immediate investigation (within 48 hours of notification). During the investigation, divaDzine may restrict customer access to the network to prevent further violations. If a customer is found to be in violation of our SPAM policy, divaDzine may, at its sole discretion, restrict, suspend or terminate customer's account. Further, divaDzine reserves the right to pursue civil remedies for any costs associated with the investigation of a substantiated policy violation. divaDzine will notify law enforcement officials if the violation is believed to be a criminal offense.

   

  First violations of this policy will result in your account being reviewed for possible immediate termination. A second violation will result in an "Administrative Fee" of $500 and immediate termination of your account. Users who violate this policy agree that in addition to these "Administrative" penalties, they will pay "Research Fees" not to exceed $60 per hour that divaDzine personnel must spend to investigate the matter. PLEASE, DO NOT SPAM from your account.

If you do not agree, please do not activate a hosting account with divaDzine, as such will be construed as your understanding and agreement with divaDzine's hosting policies as outlined.
